HOT GERMAN POTATO DINNER 
5 slices bacon
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. celery seed
2-3 tbsp. cider vinegar
6 c. peeled, cubed, cooked potatoes
1/2 lb. cooked knackwurst, cut in 1/2" slices
1/3 c. sweet pickle relish
1 hard cooked egg, sliced

In skillet cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble, reserving 1/4 cup fat. In large pan cook onion in fat until tender. Blend in mayonnaise, celery seed, dash pepper, vinegar and 1/2 cup water; cook and stir until bubbly. Add next 3 ingredients and bacon. Heat through, tossing lightly. Garnish with sliced egg. Serves 5-6.
