CINNAMON ROLLS 
ROLLS:

2 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. luke warm water
1 c. vegetable shortening
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. mash potatoes
4 eggs
2 c. warm potato water
7-8 c. flour
1 jar of cinnamon & sugar mixture to sprinkle

Dissolve yeast in water. Mix shortening, sugar, salt, and potatoes. Add eggs, potato water and yeast. Cover and let rise for 1-2 hours or until bubbly. Add 1/2 flour and beat until smooth. Add remaining flour, and beat. Cover and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour.) Roll into two rectangles. Spread with butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture, roll up. Cut into 1 inch squares. Place on cookie sheet (greased.) Cover and let rise until light. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.

TOPPING:

1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. evap. milk
2 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter. Add milk and sugar and beat until sugar dissolves. Cool slightly. Beat in confectioners sugar and vanilla. Spread over rolls.
