SINGLE PASTRY CRUST 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. vegetable shortening
1/3 tsp. salt
1/4 c. ice water

Combine flour, shortening, and salt in bowl. Mix, then add water and work until a ball is formed. Roll dough to fit pie pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
