GRANDMA'S CORN BREAD 
2 c. water ground corn meal
1 heaping tbsp. flour
4 level tsp. baking powder
1 3/4 c. milk
1 egg
Dash of salt
1 3/4 c. milk
4 heaping tbsp. Crisco, hot, melted

Sift together dry ingredients. Add well-beaten egg, then milk, then add melted Crisco. Beat well with spoon. Pour into greased warm pie pan and place in hot oven of 425 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.,
