DEEP DISH BISCUIT PIZZA 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
6 oz. can tomato paste
2 oz. can undrained mushrooms, stems and pieces
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
10 Pillsbury biscuits
1 tomato
1 c. shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown beef with onion; drain. Add tomato paste, mushrooms, oregano, salt and pepper. Simmer. Press biscuits into a greased 9 inch pie plate to form crust. Spoon meat mixture into crust. Slice one tomato. Arrange on top of pie. Sprinkle with cheese. bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serves 5 to 6.
