SAVORY SUCCOTASH 
2 c. French style green beans, drained
2 c. whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/2 c. shredded American cheese
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 c. soft bread crumbs
2 tbsp. melted butter

Combine green beans, corn, mayonnaise, cheese, green pepper, celery, and onion. Turn mixture into a 10 x 6 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish. Combine bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until crumbs are toasted and mixture is heated through. Serves 6.
