DANISH KRINGLE 
#1:

1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. flour

#2:

1 c. water
1/2 butter
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1 tsp. almond flavoring

1. Mix flour and butter as for pie crust. Sprinkle water over and mix. Spread in two 3 x 12 inch strips on cookie sheet.

2. In saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil. Add flour and stir until it forms a ball. Remove from heat and beat eggs in one at a time - well. Place over 12 x 3 inch strips. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Frost with powdered sugar icing and sprinkle with nuts.
