DANISH KRINGLE 
4 c. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 c. milk, scalded, then cooled
2 eggs
1/2 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Mix flour, sugar, salt and cut into shortening. Mix beaten eggs and cooled milk with yeast and water. Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate in air tight container overnight.

When you are ready to make cut the mixture into 4 sections as this will make 4 loaves. Roll fairly thin and put filling in. Bake on non-greased pans until golden brown. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. When bread starts to get golden put on top shelf of oven. Fillings: apple, apricot, prune.
