EGG NOG | |
6 egg yolks 1/2 c. sugar 1 qt. Half & Half 1/2 c. brandy 1/2 c. rum 6 egg whites 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped Beat egg yolks until light and fluffy at medium speed. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar, beating until thick and lemon colored. Stir in Half & Half, brandy and rum. Chill. In separate bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add remaining sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in egg yolk mixture and whipping cream into the egg mixture. Sprinkle with nutmeg. |
