PESTO 
2 c. fresh basil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 to 2 tsp. garlic, chopped
2 tbsp. pinenuts or walnuts
1 to 1 1/2 c. olive oil

Combine all ingredients in blender. Add 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese if serving on pasta or leave out cheese and freeze. Make sure pesto is covered with olive oil in container.
