PUMPKIN DESSERT 
1ST LAYER:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
24 graham crackers, crushed

Mix together and pat in 9 x 13 inch greased pan.

2ND LAYER:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

With electric mixer, beat together until smooth. Pour over crust, bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, cool.

3RD LAYER:

1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
3 egg yolks
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 env. Knox gelatin
1/4 c. water
3 egg whites
3/4 c. sugar

Cook first five ingredients together for 5 minutes. Add Knox gelatin, dissolved in water, to hot pumpkin mixture.

Beat three egg whites until stiff, slowly add 3/4 cup sugar. Fold into pumpkin mixture. Pour over cream cheese layer. Chill for several hours. Can be frozen.
