LEMON BARS 
2 sticks butter
2 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. flour
2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. lemon juice, fresh squeezed is best

Mix butter, 2 cups flour, and powdered sugar; pat into buttered 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Mix eggs, vanilla, 6 tablespoons flour, sugar, and lemon juice and beat well. Pour over first mixture. Return to oven and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. When done, sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar. Cool and cut into bars. 12 to 16 servings.
