MISSISSIPPI MUD 
1 stick butter, melted
1 c. crushed pecans
1 c. flour
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 lg. tub Cool Whip
2 sm. boxes instant chocolate pudding
3 c. milk
Grated chocolate bar or nuts, if desired

Mix butter, pecans and flour and pat into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes; cool. Whip together cream cheese, sugar and 1/2 tub Cool Whip; spread over crust. Mix pudding and milk and spread over cheese layer. Spread remaining Cool Whip over that and top with chocolate or nuts.
