EMPANADAS 
1/2 lb. ground beef or pork
1 lg. onion
1/2 c. raisins
Hot pepper to taste
1/4 c. sweet pickles
1/2 c. olives
1 hard boiled eggs
1/4 lb. butter

Chop all ingredients and saute in butter. (I find they are easier to eat if you blend this mixture in the food processor or after cooking.) Place in refrigerator and chill. Prepare favorite pastry dough, roll out and cut in 3 or 4 inch circles. Put in 1 tablespoon of mixture on one half of circle. Fold in half and seal. Prick with fork. Bake at 375-400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
