OVEN STEW 
1 can tomatoes
1 can mushroom soup
1 1/4 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 bay leaf
1 1/2 lbs. stew beef, cut in cubes
6 carrots, cut in chunks
4 stalks, cut in chunks
4 lg. potatoes, cut in chunks
1 lg. onion, quartered

In large Dutch oven or casserole combine first 8 ingredients. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients and stir to coat. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
