GREEN CHILI CORN CHOWDER 
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 lg. boiled potato, diced
2 sm. cans green chilis, or fresh green peppers, diced
2 cans cream style corn
1 can mushroom soup
3 soup cans milk
Garlic salt or fresh garlic
Pepper - black and white
Salt to taste
Paprika
Cheese - Mozzarella or Monterey Jack (shredded)

Saute onions and potatoes in 2 tablespoons butter. (If using fresh green peppers, saute them with onions and potatoes.) If using canned chilis, add them along with corn, mushroom soup, milk and spices. Simmer until onions are cooked - or as long as desired. Leave peelings on potatoes if you wish. At serving time, top with grated cheese and sprinkle with paprika. Heat in microwave or broiler if desired.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
