GOURMET POTATO SOUP 
2 stalks celery
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. melted butter
6 med potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 carrots, sliced
3 c. water
5 chicken bouillon cubes
3/4 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. dried whole thyme
1/2 tsp. dried whole rosemary, crumbled and crushed
Dash garlic powder
Dash pepper
2 c. milk
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Longhorn Cheddar cheese
Cooking sherry (optional)

1. Saute celery and onion. Add next 9 ingredients. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until vegetables are done.

2. Remove from heat. Mash with potato masher.

3. Add milk and cheese.

4. Cook, stirring constantly until cheese melts.

5. You may add a little cooking sherry if you like.
