SHEPHERD'S PIE 
POTATO LAYER:

4 lbs. potatoes
1/2 c. milk
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Boil potatoes until soft, drain. Add butter, milk, salt and pepper. Mash with potato masher or whip with electric mixer.

MEAT LAYER:

2 lbs. ground beef
1 med. onion
Salt, pepper & garlic to taste
1 lb. frozen corn

Saute meat with onion and spices. Drain.

In a 9"x13" pan layer meat on the bottom, corn in the middle, mashed potatoes on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until tips of mashed potatoes are lightly browned.
