POTATO SALAD 
6 lg., unpeeled potatoes
1 onion, chopped
4 heaping tbsp. mayonnaise
1 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. cold water
2 hard boiled eggs
3 pickles, sliced
1 tbsp. mustard
2 tsp. salt
Juice from 1 fresh lemon

Boil potatoes in pan until soft. Meanwhile, put onion, pickles, mayonnaise, mustard, pepper, salt, cold water and lemon juice in a large bowl and mix well.

When potatoes are tender, peel and slice them and the hard boiled eggs and add to the mixture in the bowl. Mix well. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Chill well.

You may also add canned or frozen green peas or sliced black olives for a variation.
