2 c. Aunt Jemima self-rising white cornmeal mix
3/4 c. milk
1 egg (beaten)
1 sm. onion (finely chopped)

Combine cornmeal mix, milk, egg and onion. Mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls into deep hot oil (375 degrees) frying only a few at a time until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
