1 c. sugar
2 squares chocolate
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter

Mix sugar, chocolate, and milk in saucepan. Cook, stirring frequently until soft ball forms when small amount of mixture is dropped into cold water. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Beat until sauce begins to thicken. Serve at once.
