BBQ PASTA
spaghetti noodles
bbq pork
equal parts of Cattleman's BBQ sauce and pizza sauce (or marinara)
white pepper (black is okay too)
ground sausage

Cook as you normally would spaghetti using the BBQ pork and sausage as a substitute for ground beef.

I haven't tried this with pineapples added to the mix, but I bet it's great.

Bbq Pasta

Our family favorite is a variation on this... I use penne pasta and use a flavored chicken or andouille sausage, and thin the sauce down.

Cook the pasta. Slice the sausage and cook them separately.

The sauce is a mix of 1/3-1/2 BBQ sauce (use one with no corn syrup or low sugar), and 1/2-2/3 milk. Add 1-2 tbsp. butter if using low-fat or skim milk. Add ground Italian cheeses (even the stuff in the green shaker can will do) to tone down the BBQ sauce and mellow it out. Add salt, and fresh pepper. Simmmer 5-10 minutes. If you want more depth in the sauce, try a little chicken bullion paste, thinly sliced green onion, liquid smoke, etc and simmer a little longer.

Toss pasta, sausage and the simmered sauce. Top with fresly sliced green onion and ground Parmesan or Romano cheeses.
