HOLIDAY CHERRY SQUARES 
2 sticks soft butter
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 can cherry pie filling
Confectioners' sugar

Gradually add sugar to butter; creaming until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. At low speed, gradually add flour then lemon juice.

Pour into well greased 15 x 10 x 2 inch jelly roll pan. Lightly score batter into 20 squares. Place heaping tablespoon pie filling in middle of each square. Bake 40-50 minutes at 350 degrees until browned. Cut into squares and sift 10X sugar on top.
