EGG NOG 
10 eggs, separated
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 qt. milk
1/2 c. heavy cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. brandy
1 c. light rum
nutmeg

In large mixing bowl, beat egg yolks until foamy. Add sugar, continue beating until mixture is lemon colored. Stir in milk and cream. With clean beaters, beat egg whites in separate bowl until stiff. Gradually beat in vanilla, then brandy and rum. Fold into milk mixture. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
