1 stick butter 3 oz. cream cheese 1 c. plain flour FILLING: 1 c. brown sugar 1 egg 1 tbsp. melted butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts Substitution: Can substitute 3 ounces sharp cheese for cream cheese. Crust: Blend and chill ingredients at least 1 hour. Divide dough into little balls. Flatten and press into miniature muffin tins. Filling: Blend ingredients until well mixed. Put 1 teaspoon or less in each pastry. Bake 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Remove from tins immediately to avoid sticking. Makes 30. Freezes well. |
