SAUCEPAN BROWNIES 
1/2 c. butter
Flavoring
1 (11 oz.) can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
1/2 c. sweetener
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. addition

FLAVORING: 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate pieces, or 1 (12 ounce) package butterscotch-flavored pieces (use only 1/4 cup butter), or 12 ounces white chocolate, broken into chunks.

SWEETENER: Sugar, or packed brown sugar or light corn syrup.

ADDITION: Chopped pecans, or flaked coconut, or pistachio nuts.

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13 x 9 inch baking pan.

2. In 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Reduce heat to low. Add FLAVORING; stir until melted. Remove from heat.

3. With spoon, beat in soup, SWEETENER and eggs. Add flour and baking powder; stir until blended. Stir in 3/4 cup of the ADDITION. Spread batter in prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup ADDITION.

4. Bake 25 to 35 minutes until top springs back when lightly touched. Cool in pan on rack. Makes 24 brownies.

NOTE: When preparing this dish you can choose one item from each of the FLAVORINGS, SWEETENERS AND ADDITIONS. It will give you many variations.
