HAMBURGER SOUP 
1/2 lb. hamburger
1 lb. can stewed tomatoes or wedges
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 c. water
1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1/2 pkg. (1/4 c.) dry onion soup mix
1 tsp. sugar (opt.)

Brown meat; drain. Heat all else while browning, bring to boil. Reduce heat, add meat and simmer 20 minutes.

This recipe is very flexible. I usually add whatever is in the pantry, vegetable dip mix, potatoes, rice, etc.
