CORN DOGS 
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
3/4 c. instant whole wheat cereal
1 egg
1 1/3 c. milk
1 tbsp. oil or melted shortening
1 lb. hot dogs

Sift together dry ingredients, except cereal. Add cereal. Beat egg, milk and oil; add this to the dry ingredients. Roll hot dogs in flour. Dip in the mixture and deep fry at 375 degrees until light brown.
