GRANDMAMA'S PEPPERMINT CAKE 
1 box white or yellow cake mix
2 1/2 pts. of whipping cream
1 lb. crushed peppermint

Prepare cake mix and pour into 3 well greased and floured 9 inch cake pans. Bake as directed.

Mix whipping cream and spread part of it on cake platter, sprinkle some peppermint all over, add first cake layer and spread whipping cream and peppermint to it, do the second and third layer the same way. Cover and let set in refrigerator for 2 days before serving.
