FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
9 inch crust, baked and cooled
4 cups fresh strawberries
1 cup sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 cup water
1 small Cool Whip

Combine sugar, cornstarch, water and 1 cup mashed strawberries. Cook and stir until thickened. Line pie crust with sliced strawberries (3 cups). Pour cooked mixture over the strawberries. Serve with Cool Whip.
