HOT BUTTER SAUCE 
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 stick butter

Put in saucepan and cook, stirring until thick. Add 2 teaspoons vanilla and 2 teaspoons imitation butter flavor. Serve warm over Plum Cake or any kind of unfrosted cake. Can be refrigerated and frozen. Just reheat before serving.
