COLONIAL BREAD 
2 c. buttermilk
1 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. white flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Oven temperature: 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients and mix well with wooden spoon. Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake 45 to 50 minutes. Serve warm.
