SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
3/4 c. milk
3 tbsp. onion
4 tbsp. butter
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 egg
1 tbsp. sugar

Soak first 2 ingredients in separate bowl. Mix all other ingredients together, then add bread crumb mixture. Make balls; put on cookie sheet and brown slightly in 325 degree oven.

GRAVY: 1 can beef stock or consomme, 1 bouillon cube to 1 cup water. Thicken if desired. Let balls simmer in gravy for 1/2 hour before thickening.
