RHUBARB DESSERT 
1/4 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. nuts
2 tsp. hot water
2 1/2 c. rhubarb (cut fine)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour

Mix and put in a pie pan. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with caramel sauce.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. cream or milk

Boil until thick; add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
