SWEDISH RUTABAGAS 
2 med. rutabagas, peeled, sliced 1/4 inch
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8t tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. butter

Cook rutabagas in boiling, salted water, drain. Combine brown sugar, ginger, salt and pepper. Add butter. Stir over low heat until sugar melts, 2 to 3 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
