FRENCH MEAT PIE 
Prepare 2-layer pie crust.

Brown: 1 lb. hamburg 1 chopped onion 1 minced garlic clove

Drain grease. Prepare mashed potatoes. Mix meat with potatoes, enough potatoes to form sticky ball-shape consistency. Season with salt and pepper; sprinkle with sage, thyme, ginger, mace, allspice, and nutmeg.

Pour into lined pie plate and top with top crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes. Very good leftover reheated, too.
