CORNISH PASTRY OR MEAT PIE 
1/2 lb. flour
4 oz. butter
1/2 lb. raw round beef, chopped
1 lg. potato
Parsley, chopped (small amount)
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix flour and butter; rub in butter. Moisten with cold water, then roll pastry out large enough to hold 1/2 pound of beef cut in small pieces, potato, and chopped parsley. Salt and pepper to taste. Turn pastry over the ingredients like an apple turnover and bake in hot oven for 40 minutes. Serve hot.
