MEATLOAF PIE 
1 1/2 lb. very lean ground beef, or ground turkey
1/2 - 3/4 c. bread crumbs
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. ketchup or tomato sauce
1 tbsp. oregano
Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to your taste
8 servings of instant or reg. mashed potato, ready to serve
Cheese, optional

Make up the meatloaf with first 6 ingredients or substitute your favorite meatloaf recipe. Put 3/4 of the meatloaf in a 10 inch pie plate. Layer on enough cheese to cover meatloaf if you wish. Next layer on all of mashed potato. Spread evenly to the edges of the pie plate. Make a large patty out of remaining meatloaf and put in the center on top of the potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done. Makes 6-8 servings.

I made this pie for the first time for my family and it was delicious! I was not sure if placing the remaining meatloaf on top was just for show? Anyhow, it was scrumptious!
