SWEET POTATO PIE 
1 c. sugar (white or brown)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pie mix spices or 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. canned milk
2 c. mashed sweet potatoes

Blend sugar, salt, and spices and stir into potato. Add eggs and milk, beating into sweet potato mixture until smooth. Pour into a pastry shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Then reduce heat to 300 degrees and continue baking about 45 minutes until pie tastes done.
