3 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. Dr. Pepper soda
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 drops red food coloring
3 oz. Liquid Pectin
Melted paraffin wax

Combine sugar, Dr. Pepper, and lemon juice in large saucepan. Add food coloring and mix well. Place over high heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Stir in liquid pectin at once. Bring to full rolling boil and boil hard for one minute, stirring constantly. Skim off with metal spoon and pour quickly into hot sterile glass or fruit jars. Cover immediately with 1/3 inch hot paraffin wax. Cool and store in dry place. Allow several days to set.
