CRANBERRY SPICE CAKE 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. cranberry sauce

Cream shortening, sugar and egg. Stir in raisins and nuts. Combine dry ingredients. Add to first mixture. Stir in cranberry sauce, jellied or whole. Bake in tube pan at 350 degrees.
