TORTILLAS 
3 c. flour
1 tsp. (heaping) baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
1 1/2 c. boiling water

Mix above ingredients all together with hands. Knead dough until mixed and sticky. Divide dough into balls (about golf ball size). Roll each ball out on lightly floured countertop. Place in HOT ungreased skillet until lightly brown on both sides (will need to flip once). DO NOT over brown or tortilla will be brittle.
