CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES
(CORDIALS)
 
1/4 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar (10x)
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. almond

Mix and mold around maraschino cherry. Let set until cool. Coating: 2 tbsp. shortening

Melt over hot water. Dip centers; cover completely; make sure there are no holes. Let set at least 2 days.
