STOVE TOP MEATLOAF 
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 can tomato soup
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. shortening
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. chopped green pepper
1 tsp. EACH salt and pepper

Mix together meat, crumbs, 1/4 cup soup, onion, egg and seasoning. Shape into two oblong loaves. Roll in flour and brown in shortening in iron skillet or frying pan over low heat. Cover and cook low for 25 minutes. Spoon off fat. Mix remaining soup, water and mustard and pour over browned loaves. Cook 10 minutes uncovered.
