PEAR TART 
1/2 c. soft butter
Vanilla
3/4 c. flour
2/3 c. chopped walnuts (fine)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 (29 oz.) can pears, drained and sliced
Sugar

Crust: In large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat butter, 1/3 cup sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla until blended. Gradually add remaining sugar and flour until well blended. Stir in nuts. Spread mixture in 10 inch spring-form pan.

Filling: In bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat in cream cheese and 1/4 cup sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla until well blended. Pour on top of crust. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

In large bowl, 1 teaspoons sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Add pears. Toss gently and arrange on top of filling. Bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees, then reduce to 400 degrees and bake for 20 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then remove sides of pan. Serve cold or warm.
