ENGLISH TOFFEE 
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. white sugar
3/4 c. chopped blanched almonds
4 Hershey bars
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Mix butter, sugar, and almonds and cook over medium heat until tan or caramel color, stirring constantly. Spread quickly on well greased cookie sheet, very thin. Break up Hershey bars on top and spread as they melt. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.

Note: Have everything ready to work quickly as it takes only about 10 minutes.
