TOMATO DUMPLINGS 
1 large can tomatoes
1 can water
salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp bacon drippings

Dumplings:

1 1/2 c. plain flour
salt
enough cold water to make a stiff dough

Boil tomatoes, water, salt, pepper and baking drippings. Mix dumpling ingredients together to make a stiff dough. Make into 3 or 4 balls. Roll out on flour surface then thin cut in stripe and drop in boiling tomatoes. Cook about 15 minutes. Stir to keep from burning.
