RAISIN AND NUT CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. honey
5 eggs
1/4 c. orange juice
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 boxes raisins (15 oz. boxes)
1 lb. nuts

Put raisins and nuts in pan and dust with a little flour. Cream butter and sugar, then add honey and mix. Add eggs and beat until thoroughly blended. Mix all dry ingredients together. Add to cream mixture alternately with orange juice. Pour mixture over raisins and nuts. Mix thoroughly.

Pour in a 9 inch tube pan lined with lightly greased wax paper. Bake in a 275 degree oven about 2 hours until toothpick inserted comes out clean. After cake is thoroughly cool sprinkle a little rum over cake. Wrap and put in a tin.
