CONGO SQUARES 
1 lb. brown sugar
2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
3 eggs
1 1/4 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter. Pour over sugar. Mix well, and let cool. Add eggs, one at a time. Add other ingredients; mixture will be stiff. Spread in a metal 10x14 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
