SHORTBREAD COOKIES 
1/2 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. icing sugar
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. soft butter

Sift together cornstarch, sugar, and flour into bowl. With a spoon, blend butter into flour mixture. Roll into 1-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet about 1 1/2 inches apart. Flatten with a fork dipped in flour. Place in preheated 300 degree oven and bake for 25 minutes and the edges are a little brown.
